These 3 cabins are our traditional cabins that hold up to 28 people in bunk beds. A large bath house is a short walk away.
Many enjoy walking around our lake trail or stopping by the outdoor chapel to pray or meditate on God’s word. Others enjoy our lake front recreation including, fishing, kayaks, corcl boats, stand up paddle boards, water slide, and a climbing wall over the water. Use of this recreation requires advance reservation.
We love the local church and their pastoral staff! This mountain retreat is for NC Baptist pastors and their spouse to retreat from pressures of daily life. Pastors enjoy 3 nights of lodging for free in a private home with a full kitchen and a great westerly view.
Enjoy our gracious hospitality in a Christ like environment in one of our 80 private hotel style bedrooms, 12 conference rooms, and large auditorium. Your small or large group can meet, eat, and sleep under one roof. Our main business office is also located within our conference center.
Our camp office serves as our base of operations for the camp including retreats, recreation, summer camp, and outdoor education.
Our camp dining hall can accommodate about 180 people at once. We serve buffet style with a salad bar, drink bar, and condiments bar.
The RYE staff house is available to rent by guests mid-August through mid-May. There are 4 bedrooms with private baths, a kitchen, living room, and large meeting space. During the summer months our summer program uses this building for camper check-in, summer camp office, health care center, and staff lodging.
This building a large group meeting space that can comfortably sit 100 people and is equipped with a sound system and two screen projectors.
Named after our founding Director, Bill Jackson, this building is our largest worship/meeting space on the camp side holding up to 300 people. We have modern audio visual equipment for use.
Guests love sitting in our rocking chairs on the porch, playing the popular carpet pool, or enjoying ga-ga ball next door. The inside of this building is a large recreation area perfect for basketball or large group indoor games during any type of weather.
Caraway is located in the northern most part of the beautiful Uwharrie mountain range. While on our property we hope to be a place where God can speak, his voice can be heard, and his words will have impact. This rustic chapel was built by our staff and is one place you can do just that.
This camp unit is a large building with 4 separate lodging wings accommodating up to 64 guests in bunk beds with a central meeting space connected to the building.
This high energy game is one of our most popular activities for all ages 1st grade and up. You use a modified paintball marker and CO2 to tag your opponent with a foam ball. Use of this area requires advance reservation.
This is our campus game room and retail store. Enjoy playing pool, ping pong, other games, and purchase items from our store including glass bottle sodas, snacks, ice cream, and Caraway merchandise.
You won’t run out of gas on our pedal car track. Pedal around the loop to beat your friends down the hill. Use of this area requires advance reservation.
Our swimming pool is available between Memorial day and Labor day. There are rest rooms, lounge chairs, a covered picnic shelter, 4 square court, and a 9 square con the ground court here. Use of this area requires advance reservation.
This pavilion has restrooms, 1 full sized basketball court, 2 half court basketball goals, ga-ga ball, and four square. This is a great place to have fun out of the elements.
Come sit by the lake and enjoy creation with a view of the cross nearby. This is a perfect place where God can speak, his voice can be heard, and his words will have impact.
Our large grass field is open for groups to play group games, soccer, volley ball, wiffle ball, ga-ga ball, and more.
Our rifle range is purposefully located next to a valley for safe shooting. The range has a target retrieval system so that participants never go down range to retrieve their targets. Use of this area requires advance reservation.
Your group with appreciate tagging each other in our wooded course. There are plenty of trees and barricades to hide to play many different tag games. We provide all the equipment. Use of this area requires advance reservation.
Participants practice the sport of instinctive bow and arrow shooting with our trained staff. Use of this area requires advance reservation.
Your group can come together as a team through our group initiative team building sessions, zip lines or high ropes course sessions.
This unit houses up to 90 people in 4 separate cabins on bunk beds with 2 meeting spaces. The Mountain View Activities Center is a centrally located large group meeting space. The recreation pavilion is nearby for free times.
This area includes an activity field for games, a large meeting space holding up to 80 people with a full kitchen, and bunk bed lodging for up to 80 people.
